Aspirating Syringes
1 Product
Aspirating syringes deliver local anesthetic from standard dental cartridges while letting the clinician aspirate before injecting.
What Is an Aspirating Dental Syringe?
An aspirating syringe holds a dental anesthetic cartridge and a disposable needle. Before injecting, the clinician draws back on the thumb ring to check for blood in the cartridge, which helps confirm the needle tip is not in a blood vessel.
Cook-Waite Type Syringes
Cook-Waite style syringes typically use a harpoon on the plunger that engages the cartridge stopper, with an open barrel for cartridge visibility and finger rests and a thumb ring for controlled handling. Most are designed for standard 1.8 cc cartridges.
